Tour Itinerary
DAY 1 MOTHERLAND-TASHKENT
Arrive at Tashkent International Airport, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel.
The tour starts at 11: 00 with a visit to ancient mosques and madrasas (Islamic academies), including the Hazrati Imam Complex, which includes:

Barak Khan madrasah (XVI century),

the old Jami Mosque (Cathedral Friday Mosque), which is still functioning,

mausoleum of Kaffal Shashi – the tomb of the great philosopher, poet and teacher of Islam, who lived in the X century.
Then we will visit Chorsu Bazaar, the most famous farmers ' market in the city, where you can meet many locals from the surrounding area dressed in traditional costumes.
Lunch in the Central Asian Pilaf Center.
After lunch, we will enjoy a panoramic tour of the modern city:

DAY 2TASHKENT-URGENCH – KHIVA
Early transfer to the airport for the morning flight to Urgench (departure at 07: 00). Pick up at Urgench airport (arrival at 08: 30)and transfer to Khiva.

DAY 3 KHIVA-SHAVAT-DASHOGUZ (BORDER) - GAS CRATER (300 km, 6 hours on the road due to road conditions)
After breakfast, drive to the Shavat-Dashoguz border checkpoint of Turkmenistan (60 km, 1 hour). Passing border formalities on both sides. Crossing 1.5 km of the neutral zone (transport may not be available).
Meet tourists at the border at 09: 00 (you need to be at the border of Uzbekistan at 08: 30). A guide and driver will accompany you to one of the main natural attractions of Turkmenistan — Gas crater, which foreign travelers call "The Gates of Hell".
Darvaza district is rich in natural gas. In 1971, Soviet geologists came across an underground cavern filled with gas while drilling. The ground beneath the rig collapsed, leaving a large crater 70 meters in diameter. To avoid the release of toxic gas, it was decided to set it on fire. Geologists had hoped that the fire would burn out in a few days, but the gas is still burning.
In the evening, you will enjoy a delicious barbecue dinner prepared by our guide and driver.
Overnight in a tent camp or yurt (tent, mattress, pillow, sleeping bag are provided).
DAY 4GAS CRATER – ASHGABAT (270 km, 5 hours on the road due to poor road condition)
Picnic breakfast. Transfer to Ashgabat. Check-in at the hotel. Free time to relax.
After that, you will find Ashgabat city tour – a city that was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records in 2013 "white marble city" with the largest number of buildings lined with white marble.

DAY 5 ASHGABAT-MARY-MERV-FARAP-ALAT (270 km, 4.5 hours on the road)
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for a flight to Mary.
After arrival, transfer to the city of Bayramali (30 km from Mar) to explore the ancient city of Bairamali. Mervom – "Queen of the world"which was once one of the most important Islamic capitals along with Baghdad, Cairo and Damascus.

DAY 6 BUKHARA
Breakfast. Full-fledged Bukhara city tour.

Ismail Samani Mausoleum – the oldest and most valuable monument of the country, a masterpiece of medieval architecture, built by Ismail Samani in honor of his father Nasr I.

After breakfast free time for self-study of the old city of Bukhara until noon.
After lunch transfer to Samarkand (290 km, ~4 hours on the road).
Arrival in Samarkand, check-in at the hotel. Free time to relax.

DAY 8SAMARKAND
Breakfast at the hotel.

DAY 9SAMARKAND – TAJIKISTAN (PANJIKENT)
After breakfast transfer to the border with Tajikistan (Panjikent).
Meet your guide on the Tajik side and drive to Panjikent.
City Panjikent Five Villages is located in the Khujand region of Tajikistan, in the picturesque valley of the Zeravshan River. Perhaps it is from these five villages that the history of this wonderful city began. V-VIII centuries AD
At that time, Panjikent was one of the most important cultural and craft centers of Sogd. "Central Asian Pompeii". It was a well-fortified, organized city with a ruler's palace, two temples, markets, rich residential buildings decorated with numerous paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods.
The ruins of this ancient city were discovered only in the last century. Today, tourists can see remains of residential and administrative buildings, a citadel with a palace, a house of artisans and a temple of fire worshippers.

DAY 10 PANJIKENT-7 LAKES – KHUJAND
Today we will go to Fan Mountains – one of the most popular places for hiking in Central Asia.
The road to the lakes passes through the pass Shahristan (3,378 m).
You will make day trip to Seven Lakes (Marguzor Lakes)located approximately in 60 km south of Panjikent.
This route runs along the gorge where the seven picturesque lakes at different heights, each of which has unique color.
During the tour, you will have the opportunity to meet the local people living in the area and experience their traditional way of life.
After a walk and rest transfer to Khujand.

DAY 11 KHUJAND – TAJIK-UZBEK BORDER
In the morning Khujand City Tour - the second largest city in Tajikistan, located on the river Syrdarya Region at the entrance to the Ferghana Valley. The city's population is 149,000 people, it is the administrative center of Severnaya Sughd Province.
