Tour Itinerary
DAY 1MOTHERLAND-TASHKENT
Arrival at Tashkent International Airport, meeting with the driver and transfer to the hotel in Tashkent.
Lunch. After lunch – a panoramic tour of the modern city: Independence Square, Amir Temur Square, Theater Square, Tashkent City, Museum of Applied Arts. The tour ends with a visit to the Tashkent Metro, where each station is decorated in a unique style.
18:00 – Transfer to the local airport in Tashkent for the flight to Urgench. Arrival in Urgench at 21:55. Transfer to the hotel in Khiva. Dinner and overnight in Khiva.
DAY 2Khiva – Shavat Border
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, the day will be devoted to a tour of Khiva. The old city "Ichan-Kala", whose history dates back to the 5th century BC, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The tour begins at the Ata Darvoza gate, next to which is a monument to Al-Khwarizmi (Algorithm), the founder of algebra; the Muhammad Amin Khan Madrasah (19th century), Ayminkhan and Kalta-Minor minaret, the Kunya Ark fortress – the residence of local rulers with the reception hall, royal mosque, harem, old prisons, etc. The Juma Mosque (10th century) with 213 carved wooden columns is one of the main attractions of Khiva.
Lunch. After lunch – visit to the Tash Khovli Palace, the second residence of the Khiva rulers, including the harem, and the mausoleum of Pahlavan Mahmud – a poet, philosopher, legendary wrestler, and patron of the city. This is one of the most sacred and beautiful places in Khiva. The royal caravanserai with its colorful bazaar follows, after which you will have free time to walk and shop at the local market.
At 18:00 – transfer to the Shavat border.
