Tour Itinerary
DAY 1 Homeland – Bukhara
Arrival in Bukhara. Transfer to the hotel and check-in.
Time for rest and refreshment.
Free time for independent exploration of the city.
Dinner. Overnight in Bukhara.
DAY 2Bukhara – Samarkand
After breakfast, a full-day tour of Bukhara.
The city tour includes: The Mausoleum of Ismail Samani, the oldest and most valuable in the country, a masterpiece of medieval architecture, built by Ismail Samani for his father Nasr I. The Mausoleum of Chashma-Ayub. We will visit the Bolo-Hauz Mosque, the official place of worship of the emirs, built in 1718, located next to the Ark gates, the city center, and the official residence of the rulers of Bukhara.
Time for lunch. After lunch, visit the minaret and mosque of Poi Kalon, the madrassas of Abdul Aziz Khan and Ulugbek, the Labi-Hauz ensemble, the pool, and the teahouse, which is the modern center of traditional Uzbekistan.
Dinner at a local restaurant. After dinner, transfer to the station for departure on the high-speed train “Afrosiyob” (17:55). Your driver will meet you at the station and take you to the hotel. Free time for rest.
Overnight in Samarkand.
DAY 3 Samarkand – Tashkent
Breakfast. Full-day tour of Samarkand. Visit the Gur-Emir Mausoleum, the mausoleum of Timur with its beautiful dome, the Shahi-Zinda necropolis, Ulugh Beg Observatory, workshops producing Samarkand paper from mulberry, and a silk carpet factory.
Time for lunch. After lunch, visit the magnificent Registan Square with its three madrasahs, fully covered with tiles and lapis lazuli mosaics, one of the most remarkable monuments of Central Asia: the Ulugh Beg Madrasah, the Sher-Dor Madrasah, and the Tillya-Kori Madrasah; the giant Bibi-Khanym Mosque, built by Timur for his beloved wife. After visiting the giant Bibi-Khanym Mosque, the route leads to the Siyob Bazaar, located right next to the main city gates.
Dinner. Transfer to the station for departure on the “Afrosiyob” train (19:48–22:10). The driver will meet you and transfer you to the hotel.
Overnight stay in Tashkent.
DAY 4 Tashkent
After breakfast, starting at 11:00, we begin the tour by visiting ancient mosques and madrasahs (Islamic academies), the Hazrati Imam complex, which includes the Barak-Khan Madrasah (16th century), the old Jami Mosque (Friday Mosque), which is still in use, and the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum — the tomb of the great philosopher, poet, and Islamic teacher who lived in the 10th century.
At 14:00, lunch at the center of Uzbek pilaf, where you can try national Uzbek dishes and watch the cooking process. After lunch, the tour of ancient mosques and madrasahs will begin.
After that, there will be a panoramic tour of the modern city: Independence Square, Amir Timur Square, and Theatre Square.
Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Tashkent.
DAY 5 Tashkent – Departure
After breakfast, transfer to the train station for departure on the high-speed “Afrosiyob” train to Bukhara.
Arrival in Bukhara and transfer to the border. Departure.
