A hundred meters from the majestic walls of the ancient fortress of Ichan-Kala, over which the minaret of Kalta-Minor rises, stands a small hotel "Malika Khiva". Built in 2004, its outlines resemble a madrasah. Inside the hotel, guests find themselves in a spacious hall surrounded by two floors of corridors with rooms.
The hall is decorated with various suzani, embroidery, carpets, dolls, mannequins in Khorezm national costumes and even an arba - it seems that this is not a hotel, but a merchant's shop on the Great Silk Road. The oriental idyll is somewhat disturbed by large chess pieces, the field for which is marked right in the center of the hall.
The entire hotel is done in light colors and therefore seems to be filled with light. The same light hotel rooms have a small area and rather modest furnishings, but despite the minimalism in the arrangement of the rooms, they are very cozy.
